How we pray affects what we believe and how we live

The goal of our work together:  to develop a tool for discerning the relationship between our prayers, beliefs, and how we live our lives in our particular culture in the context of Prayer Book revision.

Liturgical expression, theological reflection, and missional action do not happen in a vacuum.  Rather, these three expressions of our faith are inextricably intertwined.  And these three expressions of our faith are not experienced in a vacuum; cultural, political, social, economic, and environmental aspects of the world in which our theology was developed, our prayers were written, and our missional calling was heard continue to influence our faith today.

Our common and individual work focuses on how we, as a group of friends and colleagues and in our respective ministry settings, can bring the insights of our research into the interactions of liturgy, theology, and mission for the good of the parishes and schools where we serve.
